Mike is my older brother, who taught me my first chords on guitar.  When living abroad he became an astounding slide and blues guitar player with a deep rumbling blues voice.  Mike and I have taken different directions, musically, over the years, as he has stuck very much to the blues, whereas I have diversified to play a load of different styles and have written lot of my own songs.  On a good night Mike can take you way out into the levees and out slide Mister Cooder.  Mike used to run his own band in London, The Wandle Delta Blues band who did a lot of work around town.  A woman who had once lived in Chicago in its blues heydays once said to him at gig that his band were the nearest she had heard to that sound for years.
